Appu Ghar | Oyster`s Water & Amusement Park

Basking in the afternoon sun, getting drenched in a pool and swimming in clear waters might remind you of a dreamy vacation in Goa.

But if you have neither the time nor the budget to visit Goa for a beach therapy, a great option is Gurgaon’s Oysters Water Park. Action, adventure, adrenaline – there’s no shortage of anything here. Now, from knowing the best time of the year to visit to organizing your transport and arranging tickets in advance, the process can be tiresome.

Don’t stress – we’ve compiled a step by step guide to help you make the most out of your trip here. Read on!

Twisting and turning water rides!

Oysters Water Park features an extensive range of slides that has twist and turn like snakes.

  • Adrenaline pumping waterslides
  • Artificial sea wave pool
  • Lazy & Crazy River

The park offers 15 different rides to keep everyone, from kids to adults, occupied. Some of the rides which must be on the top of your list are:

  • The Skyfall (Tallest Ride in India)
  • Aqua Loop named OMG (Oh My Gurgaon)
  • Typhoon Tunnel
  • Thunderstorm

There’s more – Cabanas, Spa, 9-D gaming cinema!

The entire park has been designed specifically to give you a feel of a real beach. There are cabanas spread across the shore and there is a mechanized system to ensure high and low tides. If you’ve got an hour to yourself, make your way to the spa for an ultimate stress-busting experience. Kids can satiate their gaming desires with the 9-D interactive gaming cinema at the park.

Know what food you can bring and find here!

While bringing your own food is a logical way to save some money (theme parks can be notorious for over-priced, unhealthy food), it’s also important to know what food you can find here. After you’ve whipped up an appetite, you can head to the multi-cuisine food court at the plaza to recharge your batteries. It offers a wide array of options from Seafood to North Indian and South Indian cuisine. Those who opt for a buffet are in for a treat! The restaurant at the ride area has been divided into two parts. The Low Tide Restaurant serves an exceptional Indian buffet and the High Tide Bar, a vast menu of interesting drinks to quench your thirst!
