Abhi tho mene start kia hai!
Make sure you are ready to watch the sentiment. Vikram played by Retish Deshmukh seems very naive and we can’t tolerate him being so good.
The movie revolves around brothers who are like sticky notes. Two completely opposite! One is who gets teary while watching a movie at a theatre and the other one is who cares for him like insane. Just like a savior, Ronnie played by Tiger Shroff comes over to save his baby brother from the bad people. C’mmon we know men do cry and that’s acceptable but intee femininity thoos thoos ke bhari hai ki kya bataye. Ronnie is the whole handsome hunk uber-pumping his testosterone around.
Jackie Shroff is playing the role of Father. While controlling a riot, Jackie Shroff gets shot. While on the death bed, Jackie Shroff a reputed and charismatic police officer makes Ronnie promise that he will take care of his brother Vikram.
Until when can we tolerate a sensitive brother like this? It does create some comic scenes but on the other side irritates you.
Our irritation and frustration towards Vikram start to fade away in the later second half. Just like Ronnie, we too get shocked to watch Vikram turning into a Lion just like his brother.
Siya played by Shraddha Kapoor throws away lots of Slangs here and there. And to get the network connection on her phone she runs into the men’s washroom. Which SIM card does she use? Don’t want to know at all.
There are some hilarious nuggets to watch out for.
Calvin Klein with some glitter!
We are treated by Disha Patani’s “Do you love me” while she doesn’t leave any kind of impact for the narrative in any way. Just to compensate for her absence in the movie as an actress, did she preferred a single dance sequence? OMG!
Later, as the story movies ahead Vikram is in Syria and now being treated as a hostage.
Now, Ronnie gets to Syria and tames the whole nation. Ankita Lokhande as Ruchi and the Mom-to-be of Vikram’s child seems fun and promising.
Jaideep Ahlawat and Vijay Verma do leave an impact on us.
Ronnie fights with the Syrians and their Boss Abu Jalal. Abu Jalal is the Chief of ISIS and knows 44 languages. Wow! Jameel Khoury is an Israeli actor in the role of Abu Jalal, plays his part with conviction.
Those rustic Syrian vibes!
After fighting with the ISIS militant groups and getting through their military base Ronnie runs across. Climbs over the top of the chopper to just fight. Jaw-dropping! Might be yaha 15% VFX dala hoga.
We have seen heroes climbing over the top of the train and the bus and sometimes car to fight. But, Baaghi 3 doesn’t consider any laws of Physics at all.
Wait a minute! You also hear some kind of zikra of Singham, Simmba, and Sooryavanshi. The Senior Officer to Vikram knows a lot about them and makes sure he takes his personal photographer along with him everywhere. What!
The moral is- “do what you are actually good at” Don’t depend on your khandaan at all for stupid reasons. Man up! Don’t know why during some emotional scenes we went back to the Sooraj Barjatya nostalgia. Hum saath sath hain!
Of course it is not at all totally relatable. But, does this generation love watching bhai-bhai ka attoot rishta? Nope! Of course not if you are going to make a 3 hours long movie.
Hai na, hai na?
- Action-sequence back to back.
- Watch Shraddha and Tiger back on screen together.
- Watch Disha Patani groove.
- It would have been great if this action movie was well written and shortened by at least 15 minutes.
- How can someone think of going against a whole nation? Complete fiction!
- Music could have been much better.
