This one of its kind Marathon began in 2011 and the aim was to spread awareness about running, active lifestyle and bringing the whole city together for one cause. Impressive!!
When is the Marathon?
The Airtel Hyderabad Marathon will be held on 25th August and only 5K run will be held on 24th August.
Race category and timing
If you are planning to set the goal of getting through well in The Full Marathon which will be covering 42.2Km then your run will begin at 5:00 AM sharp.
Participating in Half Marathon? It will be covering the total distance of 21.1Km and the run will start at 6:00 AM.
The 10K Run as the name suggests you will get to run 10Km and you need to start at 7:00 AM
The 5K run will be on 24th August and you will be covering 5Km and the Run will start around 7:00 AM
To participate in Full and Half Marathon one shall be above 18 years.
And if you want to participate in 10K Run you shall be above 14 years.

What’s the course like?
You all have to gather near People’s Plaza as that’s the starting point. And once the run begins you will get to see the Banjara Hills, Jubilee Hill, and the IT corridor. The Run finishes at the Balayogi Athletic Stadium in Gachibowli.
All the participants would be getting an Official Race T-shirt and a goodie bag.
To start well with the race, you will get an official race BIB.
While you are on track there would be various refreshments available along with water and energy drinks. The refreshments are available after the race as well.

- Three winners for Full marathon will be called out and the winner would be receiving the cash prize of rupees 1,50,000 and the other two runners up would be receiving cash prize too.
- The winner of the Half Marathon would be receiving the cash prize of rupees 1,00,000 and the other two runners up will be receiving the cash prize of rupees 70,000 and 35,000 respectively.
- The winner of the 10K marathon would be receiving the cash prize of rupees 50,000 and the other two runners up would be receiving the cash prize of rupees 30,000 and 15,000 respectively.
- All the participants would be receiving the finisher’s medal and the Timing certificate.
