- 24 KM: Don’t miss this chance to test your true limits.
An early morning start and 7,500 ft of max. altitude will ensure windy & chilly weather. So all you runners need to be ready.
The Race Route
Start Point: Jabber Khet is the start point for both 12 Km and 24 Km categories. All the participants need to reach Matholi village from the start point.
12Km: The participants of this category will run from Jabber Khet, running past through Coulti village to reach the next destination, Matholi village. This is the point where 12Km runners reach their finishing point and will take a U-turn.
24Km: This category’s runners have got some extra energy and so will be running ahead, leaving Matholi village to Kanda Jhak to run past the ancient temple of Kanda Jhak. Run for another 3 Km to reach your finishing point towards Thaytur.
Do not forget to bring these!
- Wind & water-resistant outer shell because one can never predict the weather up there. Be ready to literally brave the storm.
- Handheld sipper or hydration pack. This is done to avoid generating plastic waste and littering the area. No bottles will be provided at the venue.
- Whistle – Even though the route is fairly simple and will be well marked, in case of any emergency a whistle will be handy for the organizer to know that you need help.
Aid stations will be provided at a gap of 1.5 – 2 km. These will be water refill points with big capacity water cans. No 200 ml water bottles will be provided, so carrying a handheld sipper or hydration pack is compulsory.
Don’t just run
A visit to Mussoorie will be incomplete without going to Lal Tibba, Kempty Falls and the famous cloud end. So, make sure you gift yourself some extra time with the Queen of hill stations.
