How coronavirus is impacting Hindi Cinema?

Coronavirus is impacting the world economy on a large scale. Famous personalities are avoiding shaking hands with each other and postponing foreign tours.

Whenever you call someone you will get to listen to the coronavirus awareness dial tune which was substituted with filmy songs or the universal “tring, tring”

When many patients were found in India, people in the Film business knew one thing that it will impact Box-office. Many Hollywood movies like “No time to die” and “Black Widow” were postponed as they witness International release. China, India and other Asian countries are the markets that yield the highest returns.

The Films released in March like Baaghi 3 acted as the litmus test for Hindi Cinema. The advances went down by 35%.

As first and foremost prevention is to avoid public places people would avoid getting at the theatres. The theatre owner of PVR Ajay Bijli anticipates that the wave of Coronavirus will last until November. PVR is taking all care and thinking with an approach of “Safety first”. Sanitizers, mask for employees and disinfectants at every seat are some of the new measures.

If the release dates for Sooryavanshi and Angrezi Medium are postponed the movie business for this quarter will be witnessing a further downfall.

The stars are canceling their shoots which are in European countries.

Let’s see how the Indian Government tackles the coronavirus. Of course, we want them to tackle and find some solutions very soon.
